Kenya has signed a $1.2 billion agreement with a Chinese state-owned construction company to expand and modernize the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), a major infrastructure project aimed at strengthening the country's position as East Africa's leading aviation gateway.

On the sidelines of the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Kenyan government and the CMA CGM Group under the auspices of Presidents Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.

Kazakhstan and Kenya have agreed to expand cooperation in trade, investments, innovations, and transport-logistics connectivity.
